The north shore of the eastern end of the Chespeake and Delaware
(C & D) Canal near the Rt. 9 bridge outside of Delaware City,
DE.
Specimens Collected:
- belemnites - Belemnitella (Order Belemnitida, Family
Belemnitellidae)
- oysters - Exogyra (Order Pterioida, Familiy Gryphaeidae)

- shark's
tooth - probably Striatolamia
(Order Lamniformes, Family Odontaspidae)
- sand dollar - probably Encope (Order Clypeasteroida, Family
Mellitidae)
- scallop - possibly Pecten (Order Pterioida, Family
Pectinidae)
