My wife, Vikki (Victoria Pryor Connaughton)
received her BS in biology from Bucknell University in 1989, and
her Ph.D. in Marine Studies from the University of Delaware, College
of Marine Studies in 1994 (one week before me). She is currently
a research scientist at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda,
MD, carrying out electrophysiological research on the bipolar
cells of the retina of adult and developing zebrafish. She has
been published many times, both in the field of visual larval
feeding behavior (her dissertation topic) and retinal electrophysiology.

The newest Connaughton,
our daughter Mallory.
Mallory Lee Connaughton was born at
5:17 PM on November 21st 1998. She weighted 7 pounds, 15 ounces
at birth and measured 21 inches in length. These pictures are
of Mallory during the first few days after her birth. To date,
she still has all her hair!
